Staff Ann recently joined USISTF as the Executive Director. At USISTF, Ann directs the Foundation staff and all USISTF activities. She is currently engaged in USISTF strategic planning for the future, and directs the programs to fulfill the USISTF mandate to foster collaborative opportunities in high technology for American and Israeli entities for the mutual benefit of both nations. Ann came to USISTF after serving as a Legislative Assistant and Counsel in the office of United States Senator Jim Bunning. While working in the Senate she handled a diverse legislative portfolio which included Homeland Security, Science & Technology, Transportation, and Education. Prior to government service, Ann was a Political Campaign Fundraiser for two successful campaigns. Under Ann's management, her most recent campaign established the highest amount ever raised for a statewide race in Kentucky. Prior to her work on political campaigns, she worked in private law practice in Chicago, Illinois. A licensed Attorney, Ann holds a Juris Doctor degree from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois where she served on the Executive Board of the John Marshall Journal of Computer & Information Law. Ann also holds a degree in Physics from Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois. Ms. Na'ama Ron Na'ama Ron serves as Program Manager of the USISTF. SHe is responsible for ensuring that the various programs of the Foundation are implemented in alignment with its bi-national mission, and oversees the Foundation finances. In addition, she actively supports the Executive Director in advancing the the Foundation's government affairs activities and public relations. Prior to her position at USISTF, Na'ama worked in social services as a Quality Management Specialist. She earned her M.A. degree in International Relations and International Economics from SAIS, Johns Hopkins University. She holds a B.A. degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. |
