The US-Israel Science and Technology Commission (USISTC) has launched a training program for Israeli managers at leading US companies.

Chief Scientist Dr. Eli Opper yesterday said he believed that the program would develop Israeli high-tech companies' human resources, which were quite limited, and that the program could create broad relations in the future. Opper is USISTC cochairman.

The USISTC has just completed a pilot of the new program.

The program aims at exposing a generation of young Israeli managers to corporate cultures and management methods of large US corporations, in order to instill these cultures and methods in Israel.
